Indian Creek Fault Trenching Project

The purpose of this project is to evaluate past tectonic activity that could influence dam safety at Antelope Lake in the future. A trench will be excavated along Indian Creek Fault ICF to study and better define the location of the fault and its history. Some preliminary subsurface geologic exploration at the ICF site will take place prior to excavation, with an estimate of up to 20 hand auger locations.
