The project site is located at the western edge of Fort Jones, east of the confluence of Moffett Creek and the Scott River, Siskiyou County, California. The site is within the Fort Jones California USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map in Township 43 North, Range 09 West, Sections 2 and 3 of the Mount Diablo Base and Meridian MDBM.
