Post-Decision

Description

This project consists of a 1.25 MW AC floating solar photovoltaic array utilizing approximately 2,160 solar panels mounted on a buoyant racking system inside an active, man-made agricultural canal. It serves to generate 2.5 GWh of clean energy annually, reduce local water evaporation, and minimize nuisance algal blooms. The primary beneficiaries are local electrical consumers who gain grid capacity relief, alongside Reclamation District 108 through sustainable infrastructure enhancements.
