PFAS Treatment at Arlington Desalter Plant

Western Municipal Water District is proposing to install treatment facilities for the removal of Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyl Substances PFAS at the existing Arlington Desalter Plant. Four granular activated carbon GAC vessels and associated piping would be removed, to be replaced by two ion exchange IX vessels and associated piping in the same location.
