Pinehurst Road Erosion Repair at Milepost 1.7, Project# WO4515, CP#26-09

The purpose of this project is to repair an embankment failure and reconstruct the roadway to restore two-way traffic along Pinehurst Road, which was damaged during winter storm events. The road is currently limited to one travel lane. The embankment will be repaired by constructing two soldier pile walls with root wad revetment and boulder toe armoring, and by replacing a storm drain culvert that crosses underneath the roadway.
