TNBS Modoc Nation Land Acquisition

The California Natural Resources Agency has approved funding for acquisition of real property by the Modoc Nation to purchase property in Siskiyou County for the purposes of conservation and public access, subject to the requirements of the CNRA Tribal Nature-Based Solutions TNBS Grant Program. Key objectives of the TNBS Program include protection of biodiversity, expansion of access to nature, and building resilience to climate change.
