Knollwood Hazard Tree Removal Project

The project area is primarily overstory of planted blue gum eucalyptus trees and understory of veldt grass. Significant number of these trees are dead and/or dying, increasing the already heavy fuel load. Project will use a combination of equipment chippers, excavator feller-buncher, skid-steer and hand crews to remove dead/dying trees and downed fuel accumulations.
