Madera County Shoulder Paving Project

The proposed project would pave existing unpaved roadway shoulders along nine roadway segments totaling approximately 16.9 miles within existing Madera County and City of Madera rights-of-way. Improvements would include construction of approximately four-foot-wide asphalt concrete shoulders on each side of existing two-lane roadways, placement of shoulder backing material, and associated grading and construction activities.
