Issuance of a non-exclusive statewide General Offshore Geophysical Survey Permit

The California State Lands Commission has statutory authority, pursuant to Public Resource Code Section 6826, to issue geophysical permits in State waters to qualified permittees for the use of low energy geophysical equipment to perform geophysical surveys of the ocean bottom, subject to specified terms and conditions.
