Description
The Plan identifies potential natural hazards in the County/Town and includes a five-year strategy of mitigation measures the County, Town, and Mammoth Lakes Fire Protection District may take to reduce the risk from identified hazards. Local jurisdictions are required to have a Cal-OES and FEMA approved Hazard Mitigation Plan in place to remain eligible for Hazard Mitigation and Pre-Disaster Mitigation funding.
