SR-35 Culvert Replacement Project (EA 04-0V240)

The California Department of Transportation Caltrans proposes replacing a culvert system between post mile PM 18.00 and 18.02 on State Route SR- 35 in San Mateo County. The culvert system needs to be replaced to avoid pavement collapse due to culvert failure. The culvert inlet headwall on the west side of SR-35 gets filled with soil and debris and the outlet on the east side gets completely submerged, creating ponding.
