Description
The project supports wildfire-resilience efforts in Tuolumne County through outreach, home-hardening activities, defensible-space evaluations, and assistance on private lands within the Ponderosa Hills/Mira Monte Subdivision. The project is intended to reduce wildfire risk and improve community preparedness by assisting property owners in reducing hazardous vegetation and establishing or enhancing defensible space in accordance with Public Resources Code Section 4291.
