SR-262 and I-680 Pavement Preservation Project (EA 4X990)

The California Department of Transportation Caltrans proposes pavement preservation on State Route SR- 262 from post mile PM R0.3 to R0.65 and on Interstate I- 680 from PM M2.1 to M2.4 in Alameda County. The project will cold plane 0.15-feet of the existing pavement and place rubberized hot mix asphalt – gap graded RHMA-G. Any removed pavement delineation and striping will be replaced. Construction equipment may include, but not be limited to, grinders, cold planers, and pavers.
