MICHIGAN AVENUE SIDEWALK GAP IMPROVEMENTS Project Description Project Locations: Michigan Avenue: Kirk Avenue to 1,000 feet east of Kirk Avenue. See attached Vicinity Map. Project Justification: Michigan Avenue was originally constructed in 1948 and is a 22-foot-wide roadway, constructed with 2-inch bituminous surfacing over gravel.
