Ailanthus Control on the East Edge of Arroyo Seco

A small grove of invasive Ailanthus altissima will be chemically destroyed at the Pasadena City limit on a steep slope between Gabrieleno Trail and the west end of Mariposa Street in Altadena. The grove is not near natural water or sensitive species and has not previously undergone control work. The eradication of this state-recognized noxious weed will benefit the native plant community and the public visiting the area.
