Rialto Pipeline Invasive Mussel Control Pilot Study

This action authorizes Metropolitan to enter into a funding agreement with the California Department of Water Resources DWR to charge for costs related to an invasive mussel mitigation pilot treatment at Metropolitan’s Rialto Pipeline via the State Water Project. This pilot by DWR is integral to Metropolitan’s overall strategy to manage and control invasive mussel species as they enter the Southern California raw water supply system.
