Chalk Hill Road Bridge Replacement Project

The County proposes to remove an existing one-lane substandard bridge and replace it with a two-lane bridge built on an alternate alignment. The replacement bridge would have two 11-foot lanes and two 4-foot shoulders for a total clear roadway width of 30 feet, and would cross the creek with a single-span concrete box girder supported by reinforced concrete abutments.
