Roadway and Drainage Repair

This State funded Director's Order project will repair a section of road on State Route 166 that is cracking due to subsidence. Cracking and settlement of approximately 100-200 feet in length and 3 to 4 inches in depth was observed along the roadway center. Geotechnical engineering's recommendation was to excavate and remove approximately 5 to 12 feet down, 200 feet long and 40 feet wide of roadway. Hydraulics recommended installing 24" reinforced concrete pipe to help with drainage.
