Lower Putah Creek Salmon Habitat Restoration Nishikawa Reach Project

The Project will realign a reach of Putah Creek and lower the floodplain to improve habitat for native fish and enhance and re-establish wetland and riparian habitat. Heavy equipment will be used to grade the floodplain, excavate the new channel, and fill the existing channel. Sections of Putah Creek will be dewatered during construction.
