The County of Monterey proposes to acquire two CAT 299D3 XE Land Management Units, one Mower Max, and two equipment trailers to support vegetation management, roadway clearance, and emergency access in high wildfire-risk areas. The equipment will support evacuation routes and communities throughout Monterey County, benefiting residents, businesses, visitors, and emergency responders by improving roadway access and wildfire preparedness.
