The Portuguese Bend Landslide Remediation Project provides a comprehensive effort to address the Greater Portuguese Bend-Ancient Altamira Landslide Complex with the goal of slowing landslide movement. The Project would help slow the Landslide Complex by removing existing groundwater and substantially reducing groundwater recharge.
