Feather River south levee and island annual vegetation management program

The project involves careful surveying, marking and clearing of undesirable overgrown vegetation currently increasing fire danger on the south levee and river islands for fuel reduction and public safety. Once appropriate clearing has taken place, regular routine vegetation management will follow. There is no expansion of use and work is limited to hand clearing in existing public and private rights-of-way.
