Predator Proofing Replacement and Repair Project

Project proposes to replace existing wooden food lockers with metal boxes and install predator proof trash cans within Standish-Hickey State Recreation Area to provide predator proof storage and disposal for all human-introduced sources of food and reduce unwanted encounters with bears as well as the unintentional feeding and attraction of corvids.
