Chestnut Trail On-leash Dog Access

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District District is proposing to update the Use and Management Plan for Long Ridge Open Space Preserve Preserve to allow dogs on-leash on a 0.2-mile segment of the Chestnut Trail between Castanea Ridge Road and Portola Heights Road. Allowing dogs on-leash on this segment would improve access for adjacent residents living on Castanea Ridge Road to safely walk their dogs to connecting areas of the Preserve that currently allow dogs on-leash.
