Description
The City of Eureka Engineering Department will replace 1,830 linear feet of existing 6 inch PVC sewer main with new 8” HDPE sewer main with trenchless installation "burst and pull". After installing the new sewer main, sewer laterals that are active will be reconnected using conventional trenching methods; digging a two-foot -wide trench, four to seven feet deep to access and replace the lateral before backfilling the trench.
