Johnson Brothers Extended Multibenefit Fallowing Project (proposed project)

The proposed project would replant approximately 54 acres of fallowed land in Stanislaus County as part of ETSGSA's Multibenefit Agricultural Land Repurposing Program. The land would be replanted with beneficial cover crops intended to improve water penetration and retention, provide pollinator-friendly and bee-friendly habitat, and reduce groundwater demand through reduced irrigated acreage.
