DRC2019-00132 Rocky Canyon Quarry Expansion CUP

Request by CalPortland for a Conditional Use Permit “CUP” to expand quarry operations at their Rocky Canyon Quarry to include Phases 3, 4 and 5 as set forth in the 2002 Rocky Canyon Quarry Specific Plan “Specific Plan”. The proposed expansion will result in an area of disturbance of about 82 acres and would enable the extraction and processing of an additional 30,843,000 cubic yards 67,854,600 tons of aggregate which would extend the ‘life’ of the quarried products by about 57 years.
