Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison SCE to replace one deteriorated transmission utility pole 1540709E along State Route SR 34 at post mile 17.12, in the City of Somis, County of Ventura, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches, an average width of 60 inches, and a maximum length of 5 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
