Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Ecobat Resources to collect soil samples using hand tools to a depth of 18 inches from 6 locations in the landscape area of the off-ramp on the State Route SR 60 West freeway in the City of Industry, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 18 inches, an average width of 4 inches, and a maximum length of 0.50 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
