Level I HDP 26-038, approved by the Director of Environmental Planning on September 22, 2026, permits the Port of Long Beach to conduct a geotechnical field investigation at Pier C Berths C60-C62 to inform the engineering design of the Pier C Wharf Seismic Retrofit and Upgrades Project, consisting of 4 overwater soil exploratory boreholes, 6 Vibracore borings, 8 landside borings, 20 cone penetration tests, and 8 shallow borings.
