The proposed Project involves driving five 5 subsidence benchmark rods into the ground until refusal and setting a 6-inch diameter concrete monument surrounding each rod. The Project is a component of improving the monitoring network for Land Subsidence as part of the Delta-Mendota Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan GSP.
